Pacificinnovision Limited ("Pacific Innovision", "we", "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of personal data in compliance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (the "PDPO") and its six Data Protection Principles. This Policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

2. Personal Data We Collect

We collect only the personal data necessary for the purposes stated below:

  • Contact form data: name, company (optional), email address, area of interest, and message content that you voluntarily submit.
  • Technical data: IP address, submission timestamp, and session information used solely to secure the contact form against abuse.
  • Cookie and local-storage data: strictly necessary items only — see our Cookie Policy.

We do not collect special categories of sensitive personal data through this website, and we do not collect personal data from third parties without your knowledge.

3. Purposes of Collection

Personal data is collected for the following purposes (DPP1):

  • Responding to your enquiries and providing requested information;
  • Delivering, administering, and supporting our services;
  • Securing this website and preventing abuse or spam;
  • Complying with applicable laws and regulations.

Personal data will not be used for any new purpose incompatible with the above without your express consent (DPP3).

4. Direct Marketing

In accordance with Part 6A of the PDPO, we do not use your personal data in direct marketing. Should we ever intend to do so, we will first obtain your separate consent and provide a free opt-out mechanism.

5. Transfer and Disclosure of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Personal data may be disclosed only to:

  • Our hosting and email service providers (currently Hostinger), strictly for operating this website and delivering enquiry emails, under confidentiality obligations;
  • Professional advisers, where required;
  • Government or regulatory bodies, where required by law.

Some service providers may process data outside Hong Kong. Where that occurs, we take practical steps to ensure the data receives protection comparable to the PDPO's Data Protection Principles.

6. Retention of Personal Data

Enquiry correspondence is retained for no longer than is necessary for the purposes of collection — typically up to 24 months after the last communication — or longer where required by law (DPP2). Data is securely deleted or anonymised thereafter.

7. Security of Personal Data

We apply technical and organisational safeguards (DPP4), including encrypted connections (HTTPS), server-side validation, anti-abuse controls on our contact form, and restricted access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.

8. Accuracy

We take practical steps to ensure personal data we hold is accurate and up to date (DPP2). Please inform us of any changes to your details by contacting us below.

9. Your Rights — Access and Correction

Under DPP6 of the PDPO, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data held by us (a Data Access Request);
  • Request correction of any inaccurate personal data;
  • Request that we cease using your personal data for any ongoing purpose.

We will respond to a valid request within 40 days as required by the PDPO. Where permitted by law, a modest reasonable fee may be charged for complying with a data access request. To make a request, contact our Privacy Compliance Officer using the details in Section 12.

10. Children

This website is intended for business and professional audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
